Minisforum updates its Venus series Mini-PCs
In this new era of technology, computing power continues to get smaller and smaller. The Chinese specialist in computers, who is renowned for their compact designs, has released new Mini-PCs that will offer both power and portability to users.
The first of those announced is the EliteMini UM590. It includes an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, which is based on the new Zen 3 microarchitecture. It offers 8 high-performance cores with 16 threads do offer a great margin in both gaming and productivity applications. It is manufactured in 7nm processes and reaches a maximum working frequency of 4.6 GHz.
There are 8 graphics units with an iGPU in the Intel Atom x5-z5000. This can run at frequencies up to 2100 MHz without a dedicated graphics card and make your computer feel like a powerhouse.
The mini-PC supports up to 64 GB of high-speed DDR4 memory, and offers different types of storage–a PCIe M.2 SSD that can save all your data quickly, and a SATA HDD, which is a hard disk drive for all your old and important documents. In terms of connectivity:

The EliteMini UM590 is available in different configurations. The barebone version comes with 459 euros and the operating system, storage, and memory of the unit are installed. It also has a variety of other options that range from 16-GB memory to 512-GB SSD and Windows 11.
The second Mini-PC in the Venus series is called the EliteMini UM690. It will be made available next month and comes with an insane power of 16 cores, 64 threads, USB4 ports and DDR5 RAM. Even more powerful than last year’s model, it uses a Ryzen 9 6900HX processor from TSMC Manufacturing in 6nm processes capable of supporting DDR4 or DDR5 memory.
